We do accounting, financial and tax reporting of our clients and prepare and compile financial statements for the clients of other accounting and tax professionals.

What’s In The Name?

The inspiration for the firm’s name came from Knights Templar’s story in Scotland, back in the twelfth century A.D. After the Knights came to Scotland in 1129, they were given a parcel of land known as 'Balantrodoch' a few miles outside of Edinburgh. Within a short period of time, the Knights’ function of fierce warriors and protectors transformed into astute landlords and businessmen of Scotland who ultimately came to own over 500 property sites in the country. Because of the influence they amassed and the moral qualities they possessed, the Knights eventually became advisors to King David I and his royal successors.

We take the name Glasgow Knight with great honor and respect. Glasgow Knight gives a new life to the legacy of the Knights Templar in Scotland—it applies the Order’s qualities of conservatism, self-discipline, honor, integrity, vision, and well-informed action to the worlds of personal and business financial management, and accounting and tax reporting, as all of them stem from the bright, creative genius of a rational human mind.
